On Jan 7th, 2025 In Defense of Animals released their annual "10 Worst Zoos for Elephants" list and the Edmonton Valley Zoo came in at #3. No surprise, as they deserve it! Documentary Film Screening is Finally set!!!
Join us at the Metro Edmonton Cinema for the screening of the captive elephant documentary featuring Lucy. This project has been in the works for 4 years and the film is ready to be shown. We are very excited and hope to see as many members as possible at the cinema.
Lucy: The Stolen Lives of Elephants will air followed by a Q & A after the film. Here are the details:
